The challenge or specialty was the requirement (a condition set by the Environmental Board) that the bottom vegetation \/ bottom should not be disturbed. Thus, the light traffic bridge was designed and installed without bottom anchoring. NC Marine&#8217;s fixed quay element solution was to the customer&#8217;s liking.
